Hi there, I'm Pete, your Sales & Recruitment Consultant here at HSL. Although I haven’t been here as long as some of my colleagues, my infectious enthusiasm and drive to help fulfil your business objectives more than make up for this!

What I Do:

My role has two main focuses – The first part is to source the best talent available to marry to your roles and person specifications using every tool at my disposal, comprehensive screening and interview techniques. The second part is to develop new and existing relationships, spreading the word about HSL and the more hands-on recruitment strategy for mutual recruitment benefit!

Backstory:

After amassing a wealth of experience in a wide range of industries, I joined HSL with the aim of using these experiences to develop more effective recruitment processes!

Superpowers Unleashed:

Being a data, ‘whizz’, I like to gain and analyse this information to confirm what works, develop ideas for what doesn’t and ultimately, make things easier and more efficient all round! My infectious enthusiasm and friendly nature helps to break down barriers more easily.

Off-Duty Adventures:

When I am not working, generally, you will find me either with a book in hand or playing on my Nintendo Switch, (it’s my guilty pleasure!) – I am also a committed family man and kept busy with 8, (yes 8), step grandchildren!

Claim to Fame:

Despite having pride in my TV appearance on The Weakest Link, generally, I am a little more modest! If the only Claim to Fame is to strive in successfully marrying talent to your opportunities to drive your business forward – then I will take it!

Collaboration Masterclass:

For anyone to achieve success – “teamwork makes the dreamwork”. Whether it is checking in with a newer client or meeting existing clients like old friends, there is no “I” in team!

Work Philosophy:

Work smart!, Treat people exactly the same way in which I would like to be treated & always being aware that I don’t know everything. These are the core of my work philosophy.

I have won an episode of The Weakest Link! (A long time ago but took on Anne Robinson & won!)
